So i'm down to less than five days.  My room looks a bit like a 747 made an emergency landing inside of it due to all the haphazard packing.  How can I decide in five days which clothes i'll wear over the next five months? exactly.  I haven't really had time to be nervous because i've been so busy working, which I suppose is probably a good thing.  Plus this way i'll have money to spend when I get down there! (shopping.. !)  Even though I leave in less than a week my host family is not quite yet secure, so according to AFS I will probably be staying with a welcome family first, a bit like a foster family, before meeting my real host family after all the tedious paper work has made it's way through.  However, in many situations the Welcome Family ends up enjoying your company so much they just take you in as their official host daughter/sibling.  From the information i've received so far, which may or may not be completely reliable (yes it has been an interesting couple weeks) I will be staying in San Juan with the Tommaso's.  I really don't know much except they have three daughters, (YAY!) and that their father is a journalist.  I've emailed the family a bit, in english because I am not quite confident enough (yet..ha ha..)  in my spanish skills and don't want to run the risk of totally confusing them yet.  I thought I'd hold off till I was at least formally introduced.  I'm VERY excited!!!!!!
